About Us

Rafael and Mary have been serving the Lord together in Missions for over 20 years. They began their overseas ministry in the country of Uruguay, where they trained as church planters for one term. From Uruguay, they were asked to help a struggling mission church in Barcelona, Spain which God brought to maturity and was later turned over to a national pastor. Today they serve in the provinces of Murcia and Torrevieja, Spain.

Rafael was born in Colombia and came to live in New York at the age of nine. He accepted Christ in the cafeteria of a machine shop at the age of 19. His life changed quickly when he began to follow Jesus instead of the things he had learned on the streets of New York. A few months later he went off to Bible school in Arkansas where he met Mary.

Mary was raised on a farm in Nebraska and had the privilege of being reared in a Christian home. Both had made separate commitments to serve God in Missions. They were married in June of 1986 and arrived on the mission field in Uruguay in January of 1987 after first having pastored a church for a year in The Bronx, New York.

The Restrepo family consists of 6 members - their children are Carina (1990) and Jesica (1992), and also their nieces, Bianca (1994) and Felicia (1996), who have been with them since 1999. The girls are very talented musicians, with the two oldest having attended the Music Conservatory School. Today they put their musical talents to great use in their churches and schools.
Jesica is presently studying in Lincoln, Nebraska. Carina is attending
 Moody Bible Institute, Chicago.

The Restrepos covet your prayers for their ministry in this
corner of the Kingdom of God.
